Initially the overview of what was to be done and what wasn’t revealed a flaw in our own assessment of the work – not appreciating the fact that you charge each staircase as a single task costed separately, I assumed wrongly that if you knew the property was three storeys – the exact address already given to you – that that would have been factored in. But your cleaners seemed nice people.

I was extremely pleased with three young ladies who attended. They worked hard and continuously and I was delighted with the result of their work. The reason I have put only '8' instead of '10' is because I was disappointed that they could not clean the tops of the cupboards properly, only able to give them a flash over with a feather duster. They explained the reason to me (would need ladders and could fall) and I did understand. Unfortunately this was the reason I didn't clean them myself. But I live alone, am over 80, and with no one to assist me with the ladder I thought I would get some help in. Do men have the same instructions I wonder?
