    Overview

Move out cleaning, done to the inventory standard

Since January 2023, our teams have completed 9,481 end of tenancy cleans in the UK, most often in E14 Canary Wharf & Poplar, BA2 Westmoreland and SE1 Borough & Bankside. 2,495 of those were in the last 12 months, and 22% fell on a Saturday or Sunday. Local customers have typically paid £259 for an end of tenancy clean, including extras; most paid between £207 and £326. Our customers have also booked us for 7,357 carpet cleaning and 3,490 deep cleaning jobs.

An end of tenancy clean is a top-to-bottom clean of an empty property, done to the standard a letting agent checks against the check-in inventory. It covers every room, inside cupboards and appliances, limescale in kitchens and bathrooms, and the skirting, doors and switches that a normal weekly clean skips.

Whether you’re a tenant chasing your deposit, a landlord getting a property ready for the next let, or a letting agent booking a check-out clean, you get the same checklist and the same 72-hour re-clean guarantee. If the inspection flags anything we missed, report it within 72 hours and we’ll come back at no extra cost.

End of Tenancy Cleaning is also known as end of lease cleaning or moving out cleaning, and some people call it a bond clean.

“I used this company to clean my sons flat after 3 years of university living. They rocked it. Turned up on time and went above and beyond to clean everything that had been agreed. Attention to detail cannot always be guaranteed but these guys really paid attention and met my every expectation. Highly recommend.”

    Frequently asked questions

How much does end of tenancy cleaning cost in the UK?

Prices start at £135 for a studio flat and £175 for a 1-bed, 1-bath property; use the cost calculator above to add extras. Across our 9,481 end of tenancy cleans here, the typical final price has been £259 (middle half £207–£326).

Is move out cleaning the same as end of tenancy cleaning?

Yes. End of tenancy cleaning, move out cleaning and end of lease cleaning all mean the same thing: a full clean of the property when you leave, done to the standard recorded at check-in.

What if my landlord or letting agent isn't happy?

Report it within 72 hours and we'll send a team back to re-clean those areas at no extra cost.

Do I need to be at the property during the clean?

No. Many customers leave the keys with their letting agent, and we can collect them for £20.

Is oven and fridge cleaning included?

For studio flats, all appliances are included. For larger properties, ovens and fridge freezers are extras priced in the calculator. The fridge needs to be empty and defrosted.

How far ahead should I book?

Most customers book 3–7 days ahead; we can often fit in sooner. Our busiest months here are July and August, so allow a little longer then.
